It's a cold day out in the west where law is not but a few guys with guns. Survival isn't about being fittest anymore, just the quickest to draw... The story starts with a small town, and a few people. Let's focus on a family, the Greens. John & Jake Green. The only way they were the same was their parents. Jake was dark, rebelious, and undeniably clever. John on the other hand was streight forward, honest, and probably the toughest guy this side of the border. They hated eachother, more than any brothers should. One day the Jake came into town, and being how he is went streight to the bar. As the devil steped in, his brother sat at the bar, so they ignored eachother. Meanwhile a new face came into town, Mary resse. She stepped into the tavern and both brothers saw her, and fell in love. That moment sent out a call, I heard it, and emerged from the desert winds, to decend on the city of new haven.

"Hello there, I don't suppose anyone knows where I could find the sherif... or the mayor?" Said Mary.
"I'm the mayor." Said John.
"I'm the sherif." Said Jake.
"Can either of you know gather a few men to help me?" She asked.
"Help you with what?" Asked John.
"I left my wagon outside of town because my horse died. I need a few men to pull my wagon into town." She said.
"Excuze me, but I would be glad to pull your cart into town by myself." Said Jake.
"You expect me to believe you're as strong as a horse?" She asked.
"I don't expect you to believe anything, I expect you to trust me." He smiled at her and offered his hand.
"Hold up now Jake... you're liable to get her in more trouble than she's already in. Let me get a couple guys to pull the cart in." John said stepping up next to her.
"Did I not just say to trust me?" Jake said. Mary took his hand and walked to the door. They walked out of town to the wagon. It was dark, but the sun hadn't gone down but a few hours ago.
"Hop on your wagon..." Jake said, and looked around. "Quick." He said.
"Is somthing wrong Sherif?" Mary asked sitting up on her wagon.
"Yeah... We're not alone." He said pulling out his rifle. He cocked the old hunting rifle and looked around the road. The wind was picking up so much sand that you couldn't see but four feet ahead. A figure appeared in the shifting sand and Jake raised his rifle.
"Hold it! Drop the gun Jake." John's voice called through the wind.
"Blast it John! I told you to stay away! You nearly got a bullet to the brain!" Jake threw down his hat.
"I came out here looking for you, because I wasn't going to let you screw this up." John Said.
"Screw you up!" Jake yelled. "I ain't letting you be the hero this time." He said and walked over to the wagon. He got in front of the wagon and kicked the bones out of the way. Somthing came by and ate it while they were gone, probably cyotes. Jake stood in front of the wagonand started to pull it. Remarkably he moved it despite it's size. He pulled the wagon slowly, but surly back to the town.
"Jake if you keep this up you'll tear somthing, let me-" John wa cut off by his brother.
"Let you what?! Show me up?! You have a better chance of hiking in the desert, and finding a horse with a gold saddle!" He pulled the cart almost halfway home.
I watched, and it seemed I might not have to do a thing. Maybe this time I'll leave without a soul.
They argued the whole way back, but somthing just didn't sit right with me... An itch creeping over my horn. As they reach the town gate the brothers were verbally beating eachother. As they crossed the gate Jake collapsed.
"I told you you shouldn't have gone at it alone." John says, but there was an odd little sound that every westerner knows, a cocking gun. A bullet to John, and another to Jake.
"Easiest town yet..." Mary said loading her gun.  I walked into town and saw her standing at the gate. "Mary Resse... You have a dept to be paid..." I said walking toward her, my spurrs rattling as I stepped ever closer. "The Devil don't like to be kept waiting..." I hissed at her.
"Oh, you saw my dirty deed? Well can't have a witness now can I?" She shot at me. "You missed." I said fading in and out of sight, not hit once by a bullet. "Scared yet?" I wispered behind her. "Don't worry it'll be quick." I said raising my gun to her head. "You might could say I raise Hell... or you could say Hell rasied me..." I said firing at her, point blank, as she wnt limp in my arms. So I dragged her off, into the pit from wich I came. You could say I'm a spectre, a ghost story to tell kids and make them behave, or I could be a metaphore... but somtimes reality is hardder to believe than the lie. I am python, and I collect souls of the evil, and depraved...  A snake fighting snakes.
Just somthing I thought up.
