Hajime no Bide
The mild heat of the sun blanketed the sand and sea, the white light glittering off the water's surface. The gentle back and forth of the waves against the rocks was always the same, the white sand always sitting at the border, dividing the land and sea with land like the sea. The wind buffeted through the air, a wash of cold from the north, all together a comfort.
